SpringRain is one of only two certified organic lamb producers in the state of Washington. We are quite proud of that designation and know our grass fed meat will provide healthy meals for many.
We raise registered Katahdin Sheep at the farm. They play an important role in managing pasture and providing manure for fertility. Some of the many benefits of Katahdins are their resistance to parasites, easy lambing, good mothering, and the fact they don’t need to be sheared. They shed their wool in the spring and grow it back during the fall.
