SpringRain Farm is located in the lower part of the Chimacum Valley on 26 acres of prime agricultural land. The farm had previously been developed in the 1930s and several of these structures remain on the property albeit in poor repair. Prior to our purchasing the farm in 2008, the land had been badly neglected and mainly used for pasturing horses where it had not been reclained by brush and brambles. One of our first actions was to establish a conservation easement to protect the agricultural value of the farm and ensure the rehabilitation and conservation of nearly 1200 feet of Chimacum creek that borders and crosses the farm.
